Hi there! Let me introduce you to P&B Castaneda Photo! The "P" is for Peter (my husband) and the "B" is for Belinda (me!).
We are a husband and wife team who started out with simply loving photography and taking pictures everywhere we went. Whether it was while we were vacationing, visiting friends and family, holiday get- togethers or pretty much anything else you could think of, we were there with cameras in hand. Sometimes being called "the paparazzi".
At one point, we started going to a church near us, and not long after, we were asked to be our church's photographers! Because yeah, you guessed it...we were already automatically taking pictures at all of the church functions anyways! And it wasn't long after that, we were asked to photograph a wedding for a young couple at our church who had gotten engaged. We're a very small church, so we are much more like a family. Of course we said yes, and we did the photography free of charge. We considered it an honor...and a blessing. And the free experience was priceless! And with each subsequent wedding, our confidence to be able to provide beautiful pictures was boosted.
If I had to describe our style of photography, I'd say it was more of a candid, journalistic style. Of course, we do posing as well, but those candid shots...that's our true passion!
We love to photograph all types of events...from weddings, birthdays, company parties, family photos, grad photos, engagements, birth/delivery, quinceaneras…and even funerals!
My husband has a full time job, so we haven't gotten to "full time" status with our photography, but we intend to once he retires. In the meantime we will build our portfolio and sharpen up our skills. There's nothing like doing what you love, and providing cherished memories to new friends at the same time! It's a win, win!
I'll be posting some of the pictures we've taken at events very soon...so stay tuned!
